  1. Dawn Cullo says:

I would like to rehome the beds because I have a 19 month old little girl named Abigail and she is ready to be moved out of her toddler bed. Last night she had a hard time sleeping and I asked her if she wanted a bigger bed and she said YES. Well, in order for her to get a bigger bed we need to get a new bed for our 6 year old daughter Lily and moved Lily's bed into Abigial's room. So if we rehome these beds we would put the bed in Lily's room and give Abigail Lily's twin bed. Lily saw this picture of the bed and thought that is was so cool and she wants to sleep on the top and have a sleep over with her cousin. Eventually if we have another child, the girls will need to share a room and this would be a perfect solution. =)

  2. Amanda Wilkins says:

This family would absolutely LOVE to re-home these bunk beds for you. I have a house-full with 4 boys and a two year old that is still in his crib. We had a bonus baby almost nine years after our other baby… So the two year old and 10 year old are sharing a room. They would love to have these beautiful new bunk beds. We would be so grateful if we won. :)

Thank you so much!!! What an awesome thing you guys are doing.

    Amanda

  3. Cindy Clark says:

Boy, would I love to re-home this bunk-bed set for you! I have two young grandsons who have beds that are so old they are almost flat! Not only would their little bods appreciate the comfort of new mattresses, but I know they will LOVE the design and extra drawer space.
It would mean so much to us if we won – but either way, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE GIVEAWAY!

  4. I would love this bed for my 5 year old daughter. She has been begging me for a bunkbed ever since she discovered what they were. Would make sleepovers so much easier and give her so much more space in her bedroom. We live in a 1100 sq ft townhouse, 2 bed/2 bath and her room is so cramped with her bed now, that this would solve the space issue. And would love love the extra storage space as well. If we don't win, I hope that whoever does appreciates what a gift this is, especially in this economy right now. Thanks for this opportunity!

  5. My family would really put this bed combo to good use! We have a 6 year old and a 3 year old (who is still using a small toddler bed) and both my kids need new beds however, we are not able to purchase them at this time. This would be a total blessing if we were chosen! Thank you for the giveaway opportunity!! LOVE your furniture!!

  6. I would really love to get these bunk beds the reason being I am a single mother with four girls and I struggle to pay rent and keep food in my girls tummy as it is..and even tho I rent a three bedroom house my four girls all have to share a queen bed because at this time I have no money to afford another bed for them this would be a true blessing to us. My girls and I would be so thankful to get this bed it would be like a dream come true. They would finally be able to have there much needed space. So I ask you please to pick us and please help us out in our struggle. Thank you so much for posting it would mean alot if we won.

    Sincerly,

    Margarita Felguerez

  7. 8. Liliya says:

I would love the beds for my nephews. My brother with his wife and two sons will come to the US from Ukraine september, 27. They do not have money to buy any furniture, so I try to find some for them for free. They will live in two bedroom apartment next to mine, their sons will be sharing small apartment bedroom. My family and I came to US three years ago, so we are not able to help our relatives much. My brothers family would be so grateful if they won. I know exactly that they would be very very happy. They would be really exited that they moved to US, as I was exited when I came here.

  9. tiffany cameron says:

I would love to rehome this bed for you because we just moved out here from the east coast everything we own got lost in storage and i have 2 girls that are sleeping on the floor right because there bed was also in storage thank you so much

  10. SWB says:

Would love to have this as my 3 year old son and 7 yo daughter need a new bed.

  11. Julianne wadding says:

We would love a bed like this because my 5 year old daughter will not sleep in her own bed and a bunk bed would allow for both my kids to sleep together in the same room but their own beds. This would also allow me to get a good nights sleep- which I haven’t had in 5 years :-) we are actually in the market for beds and we don’t have the room for 2 beds so this would be great. Our kids would be so excited and feel so grown up. We hope to be the lucky winners!!!!

  12. Interesting giveaway! I love that your products are "heirloom quality!" Not many things created today are like that! We are in escrow to buy our first home and would love to have this bed for our boys! Thanks!

  13. I "like" Epoch Designs on FB!

  14. Kristin Olson says:

We have three sweet, good-hearted kids, but just one kids' bed. Our oldest child has long wanted a bunkbed to share with her sister — and has asked for a twin-over-full bunkbed in particular. A light-colored wooden bunkbed was what we talked about most, but we have not been able to afford one. Our family would be truly thrilled to rehome this bunkbed if we were chosen. It would be like an early Christmas in September! Thanks for considering us.

  15. Recently a dear friend and her family lost everything and became homeless. They are a hardworking couple and they're earnestly striving to reestablish their beautiful family of four in time for the new school year which begins the same day as this drawing, September 6th. I am single and am very fortunate to live in a three bedroom, one bath home. Working together, my friend and I have worked out an agreement to share my home. It is a mammoth change for all of us but we gel perfectly and I am delighted to have the creative spunk and unabashed joy of two wonderfully bright and loving children in my home. They're ages 9 and 12. I've given mom and dad my old Master bedroom and the kids are getting my old office, the most important feature, a safe and sturdy bunk bed is still desperately needed. Currently the kids are sleeping with mom while dad takes the air mattress on the floor. I've never met a more determined and inspiring family and I would love nothing more than to win them their very first piece of brand new and beautiful furniture as they work to rebuild a secure and permanent home.
    Thank you for your consideration,
    Trina

Thanks Trina! Got all your entries, and giveaway is now closed. Just compiling the last few, then I'm off to random.org…

  16. Monique Prudhomme says:

My name is Tyler and I am 2, well almost 3 and I need to get out of my crib and into a big bed. I would love a bunk bed so I can share with my sister.

  17. Jason Prudhomme says:

We have two kids a five year old and a 3 year old. The three year old is getting to big for his crib he sleeps in now. He needs a big boy bed, and this bunk bed woud be perfect for him to share with his sister. We are unable to purchase a bed for him at this time. So this giveaway would be perfect. Thank you for considering us.

  18. Jodie Wood says:

My children’s room is approximately a 9′x15′ rectangle and it’s tough to fit two twin beds let alone a full and twin, ( that is actually impossible), unless of course they bunk and, well, the storage would be a gigantic bonus! So needless to say this would be a convent space saver in a small space.

  19. Liz Prudhomme says:

My grandchildren are almost 5 years and 3 years old and it's time for the 3 year old to move from a crib to a real bed. This bunk bed set would be perfect for the two of them. The grandkids have been asking for bunk beds and the full size bottom bed would work double shift as a guest bed for grandparent visits. Our grandchildren would love to rehome this bunkbed and our son and daughter-in-law would be thrilled to receive it because purchasing one at this time is not possible. Thanks for the opportunity to be the family that brings this beautiful bunkbed into a good home.

  20. lisaadamson says:

I would love to rehome this amazing bunk bed to our daughter and son-in-law who are fostering 2 beautiful little girls. This would be so perfect for what they need! They already have a 2 year old of their own who recently moved into a toddler bed. All the individual beds in one room just doesn't leave much space for any thing else and this bed would really solve some issues for them. Thank you so much for doing this – they would be so appreciative to receive something this beautiful and functional! Thank you for this opportunity – your kindness and generosity is heartwarming!

  21. For the kids says:

Hello! Thank you for doing such a good deed!
With so few people/organizations taking part to better the community with which they are inherently a part of, societies' civic responsibility is placed on just a few shoulders; making the load so great on us few who take it on. So, again, I appreciate what and how you are taking part.
Myself, I have made the commitment to my community, and participate in numerous ways, meanwhile pursuing medical school. Upon graduation, and after residency, I will be able to serve my community even greater by opening a non-profit clinic for local low/no-income residents and their children.

  22. for the kids says:

Currently, I have ‘adopted’ 3 (sometimes more kids come) Ukrainian immigrant neighborhood girls. They are loved by their parents; however, they have 9 children. The mother works full-time at a thrift store; the father drives a truck, gone 5 days a week and Sundays are spent at church for three different sessions. As one can imagine, this leaves little time for parent/adult-child interaction. As well, these girls, Karin, Anna, and Tatiana, are unfortunately, in the middle of the brood.
My ‘adoption’ is more like an auntie, and consists of daily attention and care. We learn music, art, English, Spanish, computer skills, gardening and cooking together. They are fed and sometimes bathed at my home but, they go home to a three bedroom duplex. Yes! Really! One room is their parents, another is their older brother’s, and the remaining room is for the youngest 7 children with everyone sharing one large bed. As the girls say, “it’s squishy! So, we usually sleep on the ground”.

  23. for the kids says:

I would, if I could, change their situation even more. However, I am a full-time student, no longer able to qualify for financial aid (I have a degree). I am feed by the food-bank and live off of $190/mo., with my rent being covered by my boyfriend. Independently, I cannot help their growth and development anymore than I do, however, my applying for this contest and your decision to gift the girls can!I told the girls of your contest and showed them the online photo. They asked to have a voice. This is Anna, 10 years old and Tatyana, 12 years of age…

  24. for the kids says:

Hello this is Anna. When I saw the fabulous bunk bed I opened my mouth and my sister said close your mouth or a fly will come in it! I am 10 and I have never had my own bed. I will really be thankful to have a bunk bed for my sisters and me. Thank you for doing a really good job. Have a nice day!!!!!!
Hello my name is Tatyana; I’m so looking forward to wining the bunk bed! When I saw it I was so excited I almost past-out because I never had my own bed. I also sometimes have to sleep on the ground, so, it will be a very very big help. The other reasons that a bunk bed will be useful is because, in my big family, with 9 kids, 7 of us have to sleep together just on one bed; because one of my older brothers has his own room and the last room is for my mom and dad. That’s why I am looking forward to wining the bunk bed. Thank you so much for giving us such a good opportunity to try to win and have a good day.

Hello "for the kids" – Tallying entries and I have your one entry here with multiple comments. Just want to let you know there is no "selection committee" where we choose the most needy family, or anything of the sort. Entries are tallied and entered in excel, then selected by random.org. I don't have a last name for you, but if you have blogged about our giveaway or found us on facebook let me know and I will give additional entries accordingly. Good luck!

  25. for the kids says:

As your committee is reviewing the stories submitted I am sure you are looking to have the most impact, to do the most good for someone. I truly believe that this gift would be overwhelmingly beneficial for many someones.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
From Rebecca, Tatyana, Anna, and the rest of the family.

  26. Nancy Whiteside says:

I would love to have this bed for my spare bedroom. I have 6 grandchildren and this bed is perfect when they come to visit me. I would never be able to afford this bed, so winning would be awsome.

  27. Will Rising says:

Saw this posted on my friend, Trina Whitney's facebook page. LOL, I thought it was SPAM so I emailed to warn her! But she told me she entered this contest to win the bed for the family of four living with her and I wept! I wept again reading all these comments of love for so many children. Thank you for being a generous business and giving children a chance to sleep in beautiful beds. It's good for their bodies and self esteem. I grew up in a Haitian orphanage, sometimes sleeping on dirt floors. No child should grow up in such conditions. You are a good company! I'm including you on my blog and facebook page to show my appreciation.

    • Epoch Design Blog says:

Thank you for your support!!! We have a lot of people asking if this is spam, but NO, we just would rather rehome our returns (when they're in new condition) rather than pay to ship them back and resell them. It's good stuff :-) Thank you again for your comment…

  28. Louis says:

I have two daughters, 6 and almost 2, who absolutely adore each other. The youngest really admires and looks up to the older one. They spend almost every moment they can together. They so much want to share a room and this bed would make it happen.

  29. I would love to give this bed to my 5 year old son who still sleeps on a toddler bed. I was looking for a bed on craigs list because at the moment my husband is unemployed and can't buy him a new one. i was so excited to see this opportunity .Thank you.

  30. lisa cosme says:

I would LOVE this bed for my kids! We have a four year old son and two year old twins, girl and boy. My mother in law helps us watch them, and she is generous enough to help us send our son to preschool. She does so much for us! I would love to give this to her for the kids when they sleep over.

  31. I would love to have that bed for my little girls – ages 5 and 3. It will match perfectly with their other furniture. Most importantly they really really want a bunk bed like their big brother has! Thanks!

  32. Last year, my father was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. My husband and I were his primary live in caregivers. Between us and our two children, ages 9 and 12, he was never alone and when he finally passed away, we were all with him in his bedroom at home. Caring for my dad in this way is an honor that I would humbly do all over again in a heartbeat, no matter what. Unfortunately, without adequate coverage, the bills associated with his illness financially devastated us, wiped out our savings and put us into incredible debt. When he passed, we had to clean out my father's home, the place where I grew up, and leave. Even though my husband and I are only in our early 30's, my father was my last living parent and my husband's parents are gone as well. We had no living grandparents either or any kind of real support and eventually, we became homeless. My husband and I are hard workers who have pursued our dreams and supported our family all of our lives. We've helped others in need countless times and are simply trying to be good people and give our children a better future. After bouncing around from place to place working and fighting to survive, we are finally able to move into a place we can call home. We have no furniture of our own, as we lost everything in the past year and are completely starting from scratch. We are fortunate to be renting from a beautiful friend who's allowing us to use some of her furnishings but a bed for the kids is something we do not have. Right now they are sleeping with me or on sleeping bags on the floor while my husband (their dad) sleeps on an air mattress. Having this bed would not simply be a matter of convenience or wanting, it would mean a new start for a family who desperately needs it, who I believe truly deserves it. When I talked to my children recently about all the changes we've experienced, the loss and the grief, my son said "Mom, it's okay. I don't care as long as we're together." These are the kind of kids I am asking you to help by letting us re-home this bed. They are amazingly precious human beings and I promise it will make more impact than you know. With all the love in the world, Sarah.

  33. Jenica Sjoberg says:

This is the perfect bed for us! We have 4 kids, 1 boy and 3 girls and only 3 bedrooms! We are planning on havingthe girls all share a room when the twins move out of their crib. We have been looking everywhere for a twin over full and have not seen them in Costco for awhile!!!

  34. Paul says:

The perfect solution to get my twin girls out of our room and into big sister room! Our small house would welcome this bed with sleepy heads!!!

  35. Terry says:

This bed would be prefect for my 3 granddaghters who will be sharing a room as soon as the twins out grow their crib. The little ones have always slept together and this bed would be big enough for them to continue!

  36. Karen Romeo says:

I would love to rehome this bunk bed set for our friends whose son has out grown his crib. He could share this bed with his sister and even have room if they have a friend over. This is a great idea! I would love to win this for them!

  37. Martin Dutilly says:

What a perfect way for two siblings to share a room and remain best of friends. We could use these for grandchildren sleeping over

  38. Pray For Chemo Son says:

We would love to rehome this bed. We have 3 boys sleeping in one room. Two are in a bunk bed that squeaks so badly one of our sons has started sleeping on the floor because he doesn't want to awaken his brother who was recently diagnosed with cancer. His brother has endured 12 weeks of chemo and now has surgery, radiation and 22 more weeks of chemo to go. As you can imagine, money is tight and we just don't have the funds to purchase another bed right now. Thank you!

    • Epoch Design Blog says:

  41. Kristin Kuntz says:

I would love to re-home this for my girls. I have been desperately looking for a bunkbed solution for my girls room. They like a lot of kids have to share a room and a bed. My oldest is not sleeping as well with her sister and is now in 1st grade and needs the sleep. It would look lovely in their room. I have been trying to purchase a sturdy bunkbed at the right price, but everytime i find a used one it sells before I can get to it or I don't have the money at the time. I look forward to winning this bed. I never knew things like this exist. I am happy to find it. I will definately like you guys on facebook.

Thatd help me out alot if you choose me. I could probly skip their birthday gifts and them not even notice if you help me out on this.
