Disney is soon releasing a theatrical movie version of Stephen Sondheim's amazing musical, "Into the Woods". This musical weaves together many familiar fairytales such as Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood to create a richly complex story that explores the dangers of always wishing for more.
Much of the design inspiration for this mood board is drawn from the items that the baker and his wife must seek out to appease the witch: the cow as white as milk, the cape as red as blood, the hair as yellow as corn and the slipper as pure as gold. The colors of white, red, yellow, and gold all mingle beautifully in this room as embellishments on the woodsy decor.
White furniture would certainly fit seemlessly into this decor but the Kenai loft would be a really striking piece in the middle of an "Into the Woods" room.
We're looking forward to the "Into the Woods" movie for sure. What about you?
