Walnut oil is used in many furniture polishes because its natural oils work well with wood…you can also find plenty of homemade polishes using walnut oil! But instead of focusing on polish, we're going to show you how you can use a walnut to repair the cosmetic scratches on wood. Take the meat from a walnut and rub in gently on the scratch. Leave the walnut oil that's rubbed off onto the wood on the scratch for 10-20 minutes, then polish the area of wood and the scratch should be gone!
