I don’t have much experience with tools but this was a surprisingly simple install. It took me an hour to find a screw driver and wrench (my ex took all the tools) and only about 10 minutes to do the whole install. I love my new mailbox.

After years of having our typical rural mailbox destroyed by teenagers with baseball bats, in 2011 I found the Mail Boss on line, and was able to purchase it at a local Denver store. Fast forward to a winter storm in December, 2019, when a neighbor skidded into the mailbox. The impact knocked the box out of its concrete base. They dragged the box and post down out long driveway and notified us of the damage. When the storm subsided, we were able to examine the damage and were shocked to discover that the box and the post survived the car! The only damage was to the plate holding the box to the post and the flag. No longer carried locally, I was thrilled to discover that the company still exists 9 years later. Customer service, (Korinne), was wonderful, and I’m looking forward to receiving the new plate and flag.
